In this documentary we follow a group of inhabitants from the Cova da Moura neighborhood in Lisbon as they travel to Cape Verde to celebrate the Festival of St. John. Rediscovering the rituals and rhythms of these festivities, they are able to renew ties with their ancestral roots to keep their traditions alive in Lisbon—for themselves and for their children.
