In a series of sketches, DOU describes the life of a polygamous family in Bamako while highlighting the parallels between this family life and Malian society. We get an « inside » view of the family through each member’s stories and dreams, daily concerns and worries. Like many polygamous families, quarrels and disputes happen frequently between wives, putting the shared husband in uncomfortable situations.
