Tom has just returned from exile. Back in his native village, everything has changed since the death of his father. Being the last and only boy, he has to take over the family reins. Once a peaceful village of farmers and breeders, the place is now like the Wild West, since the gold field attracts lawless adventurers. Tom would like to take back the field inherited from his father to start a cotton farm but it’s right in the middle of the gold field. Tom considers leaving to start a new life somewhere else. But can he abandon his roots a second time? Driven by his new love for Sissi, who works for an NGO, and at odds with Paco, the powerful boss of the site, Tom decides to stay and face this world of lawlessness.
